The Healthy Families Program is prevention oriented, strengths-based, and free and voluntary. The core of Healthy Families is our home visitation service. Our target population for services is teenaged parents in the South Dallas, Oak Cliff and Pleasant Grove areas who are:
How Our Services Are Accessed:
New parents can be referred from other agencies or through personal inquiries. Our Family Assessment Worker contacts the family and sets up a time to meet for an initial assessment. Next, a Family Support Worker is assigned to those families who would benefit most from our services.
